	2008 Park Cities Quail Unlimited Banquet and Auction
	Thursday March 6, 2008 Frontiers of Flight Museum 6911 Lemmon Ave, Dallas TX Thanks to your generous contributions, we raised $654, 657 for quail research and preservation. This passes the previous QU record of $251,000.

Mr. Pickens is obviously an individual who is capable of supporting wildlife conservation at a higher level, and he has a real passion for quail management. He is a man who puts back more than he takes and he’s capable of looking down the road, mindful of helping us all leave better opportunities for the next generation. We’re extremely grateful to the Park Cities Chapter committee and to Mr. Pickens for this quantum step forward for our wildlife programs. We’re hopeful that the Rolling Plains Quail Research Project will reveal some answers to unusual declines in Texas quail population densities,”
